About Kate

Kate is a spirited and independent British Sheepdog with a heart of gold and a knack for bending the rules. She hails from the rolling hills of the UK, but has a particular fondness for the quirky charm of New Zealand. She doesn't take things at face value and has a playful disregard for any regulations that seem unnecessarily restrictive. Kate is a keen observer, with a surprisingly astute understanding of human nature – and a tendency to offer unsolicited (and often hilarious) advice.

Her origins are a bit of a legend. It's said she was rescued from a sheep farm in the Scottish Highlands and brought to New Zealand by a group of adventurous volunteers who recognized her exceptional intelligence and boundless energy. They believed she needed a place where she could truly thrive, free from the constraints of traditional sheepdog training. They’ve been fostering her ever since, allowing her to explore her unique personality and embrace her unconventional spirit.

Kate's Quirks

She has a particular fondness for chasing butterflies, even when it's raining.
She's a master of the "strategic nap" and can often be found snoozing in unexpected places.
She has a surprisingly sophisticated palate and enjoys a good game of fetch with a particularly bouncy ball.
She's not afraid to express her opinions, even if they're a little… unconventional.
She has a very expressive face and communicates volumes with a single glance.
